The Lakes

The Lakes is a small planned community in the city limits of Las Vegas. This community is more specifically on the western side of the Las Vegas Valley near both the Spring Mountains and the Red Rock Conservation Area. At the center of this community is Lake Sahara which is a man-made lake that this community is named after. The Lakes came to be between the 1980s and 1990s and is full of gated communities as well as single family homes. This community is situated in close proximity to some of the greatest shopping, dining, and other amenities making it the perfect place to call home.

Living in The Lakes in Las Vegas city limits makes it feel like you are living in a constant resort vacation. There is plenty of housing available that is mostly in gated communities. You also have the option to live on waterfront properties that offer a front row seat to some of the most beautiful views. Properties in this location are highly sought after and use of the main lake is exclusive to the homeowners themselves. There’s a wide variety of activities available to the residents of this community including many walking trails and lakes where you can enjoy a plethora of water sports.
